Set against Austin’s hillside views, Bell Mountain is a 5,000-square-foot residence reimagined through a thoughtful remodel. The homeowner, who owns a stone yard, wanted his passion for extraordinary materials to be central to the design. The interiors, once bland and uninspired, were elevated with bold stone applications, upgraded finishes, and contemporary details that introduced both style and function.
Highlights of the remodel included a refreshed kitchen, a redesigned bathroom, and new flooring throughout the home. At the entry, a custom three-sided wine cellar became a dramatic focal point, showcasing craftsmanship and creativity while reflecting the client’s lifestyle. Completed with speed and precision despite global challenges at the time, the project represents a successful blend of modern design, personal passion, and the timeless beauty of luxury stone.
