The Narrows Cabin

This one-room cabin on the Blanco River, with a small outbuilding, was designed as a simple yet thoughtful retreat. The compact layout includes a small kitchen, changing area, dining space, and a cozy living area for unwinding after a day on the river in the beautiful Narrows of the Blanco.

With a modest budget, the design emphasized careful choices that brought comfort and personality without overwhelming the scale of the space. Each piece of furniture and fabric was selected with intention, balancing durability with warmth. Natural tones, layered textures, and thoughtful details echo the surrounding landscape, allowing the interiors to feel connected to the land while still inviting and livable.

The result is a retreat that feels complete and considered, showing how even the smallest spaces can be elevated through thoughtful design.
